This is a Flex demo built based on some of the Flex data visualization work I've done for a Fortune 500 company but am unable to show in a public forum due to privacy restrictions.

I built this demo using Flex 3. The charts and grids are populated using an external XML file filled with test data.

The multi-level pie and tree map data visualizations are colored based on market change percentage, which allows a quick and easy "at a glance" overview of the sectors and companies charted. Selecting any company on any of the charts shows a drill down grid with more detailed information via a slide up panel at the bottom. This allows for maximum screen real estate and some user interaction which makes the user more engaged.
